House (Snowbelt)
Valley Youth Hockey is preparing for the 2025-26 Snowbelt League house season. We will be holding some spring evaluations and fall player placement sessions to create fair and balanced teams. Please see the information below for dates, times, age groups, and registration links. We look forward to seeing you on the ice this fall!
Ages
What aged players are appropriate for this program?
Mites are 6U & 8U.
All other House teams consist of appropriate players who are at least 9 years old and who have completed at least one year of Learn-to-Play.
When
What time of the year does this program run?
The season starts with player evaluations in MId-Late September and continues until the Snowbelt JAM in March.

Where are practices and games typically held?

Practices
When are practices and how often are they?
Teams practice 1-2 times per week.
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Teams will play between 20 and 30 games throughout the season, usually scheduled on weekends.
Jerseys
Are jerseys provided, or are they purchased separately?
Club jerseys are mandatory and can be purchased separately from registration. Later, more details on jersey sales will be posted.
House/Independent 2025-2026
Join our House and Independent Program and take your skills to the next level! Players will have the opportunity to practice and compete on a team in the highly regarded Snowbelt League. This program fosters teamwork, skill development, and a love for the game in a fun and supportive environment.
