Welcome to First Strides Skating School (FSSS)!

For ages 4-8, learn to skate in a safe environment with the support of a number of coaches and players in the Valley organization, even players from the Corcoran High School Hockey team (Syracuse Cougars). Many Valley Hockey players started skating with our First Strides program and acquired their skills and passion for hockey there!

2017-18 Season Schedule

Session 1 – NOV to DEC (9-10am): 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 12/3, 12/10, 12/17
Session 2 – JAN to FEB: 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11

Lessons will be one hour in length. All children are required to wear skates, a helmet, and heavy winter or hockey gloves. Our coaches will work to get the children comfortable and moving all over the ice, establishing a solid skating foundation.

Registration for new skaters to First Strides Skating School is FREE for first time registrants!

Due to fantastic interest in this program, registration will be capped at 40 children for Session 1 and 40 children for Session 2.
